App permissions
In this article you can read which app permissions are needed on iOS and Android.
App permissions
Permission | Why it is needed | Recommended setting |

How to enable app permissions
iOS
- Go to Settings.
- Press "Apps".
- Select "TMD Locks".
Android
- Settings > Apps > TMD Locks > Permissions
- Allow Nearby devices and Bluetooth scanning
- Allow Location while app is in use. Precise location optional but recommended
- Allow Notifications
- On some devices, also enable Location in quick settings for Bluetooth scanning to work
Privacy notes
- The app does not constantly track your location. It only uses your location when an activity event is recorded, e.g. when you open your lock.
- Bluetooth is used only to communicate with your lock.
- You can change permissions at any time in your phone settings.
