Arm and disarm the alarm
The alarm is the built-in theft protection of your TMD Chain Lock. In this article you can see how to arm the alarm, how it is triggered, and how to disarm it.
How to arm the alarm when connected
- Close your lock.
- Press twice on the lock button.
- The lock button flashes white twice and you hear two beeps. This confirms activation.
How to arm the alarm when disconnected
- Close your lock.
- When you are not connected, you can activate the alarm 30 seconds after closing.
- Press twice on the lock button.
- The lock button flashes white twice and you hear two beeps. This confirms activation.
How to disarm the alarm
- The alarm disarms automatically when you open the lock. It doesn't matter whether it is opened with the lock button, app or emergency code.
- You can also deactivate the alarm in the app.
How to trigger the alarm
