Firmware updates

Firmware is the built-in software that runs on your lock. Updates improve stability, fix bugs, enhance security, and can add new features. Firmware updates are installed on the lock through the app.

How to see if a firmware update is available

• There will be a banner on the home screen of your app telling you that a new firmware version is available.
• You can also check this by pressing the menu button in the top right of the home screen and then pressing "Lock settings", and then "Firmware"

How to update firmware

1. Open the app.
2. Press the menu button in the top right of the home screen.
3. Press "Lock settings".
4. Press "Firmware" and follow the instructions.

During the firmware update

• Keep your phone close to the lock.
• Keep Bluetooth enabled.
• Stay connected to the internet.
